Gratitude is Always a Good Policy
We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.
– Thornton Wilder
None is more impoverished than the one who has no gratitude. Gratitude is a currency that we can mint for ourselves, and spend without fear of bankruptcy.
– Fred De Witt Van Amburgh
I am grateful for so much in my life. Not just this time of year, but always.
An Attitude of Gratitude is very easy to accomplish. Well, it might be easier to be miserable and think about everything that’s wrong with your life…but then you’re stuck in misery and you will have less to grateful for, since people will leave you.
I choose to be grateful. Any one of us could come up with a long list of things in our life that we appreciate. As an example, I am grateful for;
- A loving husband
- A large caring family
- A long list of friends that I trust
- A healthy body
- A mind to choose
- Business opportunities that I am attracted to
- Numerous business relationships and connections
- My beautiful dog and running buddy, Rusty
- A place to call home
- The beauty of nature
- The resources to accomplish anything I set my mind on
The list could go on and on. This is just a quick short list to use a reminder that we all have so much to be grateful for. Not just during Thanksgiving week!!!
Practice gratitude frequently and you will find that you have more to be grateful for.
