Day 14 ~ Karin Conway ~ 30 Days of Gratitude Challenge (recorded 10/6/12)

Hi, it’s Karin, Your Favorite Connections Coach. I am working on my 30 day Video Gratitude Challenge. Today is Day 14. Wow, it’s been awhile! I have been really confused and out of whack for 3 weeks with working third shift. I am very grateful for the money and the experience. When I started stating how grateful I was for the work, it started flowing in. The catering companies have been asking me to work and other opportunities to make money have appeared on my horizon. When it rains it pours. Most of them I have had to turn down because I can’t go without sleep and the third shift training gig has had me working midnight to 8am each night. Only a couple more days left, or nights, or whatever… yeah! I am appreciative of the money, but will be even happier with sleep. I will find plenty of other ways to earn money and occupy my time.

I’m sorry if I have been completely out of touch. The real me is coming back soon. I am in love with the weather and the views of fall. Just check out the amazing colors of nature! I will sit down to paint some pictures before all the leaves fall off for the winter. I have to go pass out for my afternoon sleep time so I can get up for work tonight. I’d like to use today to reflect on all the good things that have happened to me since I started this gratitude challenge. I have magically met some people who will be instrumental in forming my dream of having an organic farm and holistic healing center. They have helped me uncover sources of funding to bring this dream into reality. Together we will accomplish great things. For this I am Grateful!

I have also gotten more work with the catering companies I work with part-time. It’s nice to have a few extra hours and a few extra dollars. My life is starting to make sense and the pieces are falling into place. I think I might actually know what I want to do when I grow up! I’m still searching for additional opportunities to earn the money I need to start my farm, but I have had so many part-time opportunities appear recently. It has been great. For this I am Grateful! I have to stop and thank Dave Kocol and Jody Pogo for being my inspiration and kick in the pants that I needed to get started on this video project. I am not sure I would have gotten started or had the successes I did without their inspiration. For them I am so Grateful! I have to go pass out for my afternoon sleep time so I can get up for work tonight. Count your blessings…they will multiply.
